Dawi Oil will Purchase and deliver all types of oil products from Russian Federation up to 1 million MT per Year.
Dawi Oil signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Joint Stock Commercial Bank "Moscow Industrial Bank" during a business meeting inaugurated by President of Afghanistan, H.E. Mr. Hamid Karzai at Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industries on 2011-01-21.
This MOC will ease implementation of short-term and long-term contracts for supply of aviation fuel and oil products from the Russian Federation to Islamic Republic of Afghanistan from 2011-2014.
Mr. Abdul Ghafar Dawi, the vice chairman of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce & industries and the President of Dawi Oil company, during the signing ceremony explained that the short-term plans are to stipulate immediate purchasing of 10 000 MT of aviation fuel TC1 type per month for civilian flight consumption at all major civil airports where Dawi Oil is operating and the project will not end here but will be Purchasing and delivering all types of oil products up to 1 million MT per Year to Afghanistan high quality and competitive price.
Mr. A.Abokaker Arsamakov, president of Joint Stock Commercial Bank "Moscow Industrial Bank" insisted on further cooperation between the Governments of Afghanistan and Russian Federation not only in supplying fuel to Afghanistan but to transfer fuel refinery technology with the cooperation Afghan private sector to Afghanistan which will secure sustainable and low cost fuel to Afghans.
